Quite often, mysterous things happen to me... Just like overnight, one particular drive seems to be moved from "P" to "D". Did I sleepwalk? Did someone come into my apartment? Did someone hacked my computer behind a solid firewall? Did something else do it? For what reason? In any event, someone did need some help and that's that.

If I had to be honest, was it all fine & easy or smooth. I would say far from it. Delays upon delays, with limited resources, assistances, a struggle to keep enough battery to stay connected in a confined area, while stressing about other things like is there other things need to be done etc. I just thought how and why things became that difficult? For what reasons? Perhaps that's just that kind of valentine that one would always be memorable & not to forget. Both of us were not in the perfect state (stress / exhaustion) and had our own frustrations at times. I was certain that things aren't presented exactly as given, portraited, as I "too" (not just me) noted some contradictions which makes it even more complex to deal with.

If that's again the can't be spoken issue, then what more can I do? In the end, is it all just the heavy heart and continue on, until nothing else matters?!

I believe what I believe and deep down, I'm sure many people do too. In this modern day, it isn't easy to find someone who is willing to help during emergency situations. Somehow, I think I witnessed more beeps/honks/anything but useful comments from elsewhere, than a helping hand. It's not like they have a personal gain or will change the situation by merely honking, so I wonder why... For payphone, I wonder when will they be integrated with internet, or at least to maintain the value for its purpose?! Imagine, during an emergency, if you were left without your usual mobile phone and require urgent assistance. What could you do? If you were alone, probably even worse... even if you get to a payphone, you better at least be able to remember all those 13/1800 and important friends/family's numbers (while in distress)... Or did you think a 000 call would be warrented? I guess, without more difficult extra issues could already be a blessing in itself. Even just a tiny problem, may already be too much to handle.

A couple of relevant posts jumped out to me today too. Endless Sorrow Payphone
