Can someone feel like they have wings? Obviously it would be more metaphorical speaking, or maybe invisible to naked eyes, deep within the soul.... who knows right? At this point, I don't think I am crossing any line here, especially on my personal blog, or perhaps even able to talk to friends about that (who knows).
Instead of both wings, I often think whether there could be possibility of clipping one, similar to Endless Sorrow (this post), probably still better than losing both right?
Lately, I realised it isn't so much about what I do, or even did.... in a scheme of things. If others have made their mind before meeting me, or experienced / misunderstood things that aren't truly representing me, or even picking the worst possible time to meet / determine / worst situations etc can all lead to a different path and shape how we feel about things.
If hope is what I can hold on to, is there an expiry? or is it purely based on faith, just got to believe it and take a leap of faith.... And I think even time can be an important factor to this situation, the longer it leaves alone without proper fix, the harder the fix (due to widening gap). This is already happening in many forms in society, one recent example would be related to what this news covered - Donald Trump & Pope. Some may think oh no one would ever "believe it" right?! Well, what if the photo got dig up in the future, say 30 years later, could it misled some innocent ones who knew nothing about the current situation, those people whatsoever, and just believed it on face value.... then voila - the truth or be able to create another division?!
But if we come back to reality, losing trust / more divisions really do no good to anyone, regardless what which side you believe in.... because a continuous division only leads to close to nothing, which I think very few would wanted that?! Have you ever wonder how dangerous it could be if it wasn't managed properly. At the same time, it is not completely bad if it is used correctly, or make it more apparent if it was a joke/fiction or "Not True Story" maybe sufficient?! It isn't much different to satire kind of things, which I believe some guidance does exists already in this society, further reading [Austlii]. I think it is a helpful read from a more legally structured way, coupled with stronger AI ethic standards would help removing some annoyance or even potentially legal liability etc (aka fake news, or intentionally spreading literal lies / cause to divide & reduce trust) online.
If wings were just a metaphor (maybe not but that's for another topic), could it be a reliable way to communication and be able to navigate this reality that seems to be becoming more complex?
Brain Tease: If neuro comm does exist, and with high accuracy, no error, eg. someone can read thought, then how could one steal from each other?! Does the thought of taking/stealing is already a way of communication? If it is stealing, then the communication wasn't effective?! Was it a misunderstanding? That's why endless sorrow, I think that's why the child chooses to say out loud face to face, something at least, maybe even giving the reasons behind it.... but does it mean death sentence for him? is it why he ends up alone? The stronger trusted ones maybe able to survive that......... and how many of them out there?
