#216 - Umbrella

Umbrella today - it remains me of my old umbrella, probably stolen,,,, it had the proper weight, very balanced, it was well made with leather handle, and to finish with a sturdy tip & a cover to keep it in excellent shape even after being used. I must admit it was expensive, but hey my thought was - it would last until the end & I would never needed to get another one. It was sort of true until it was gone...Wouldn't we called that a form of saving too, sometimes we compare products (basic, budget, affordable premium, premium, luxurious etc), but how often do we consider other elements of the product, especially the longevity of it. And if you think about it, sometimes, a price tag is just a number, if it was a market, it has a market, if it doesn't, it is just a price.... some price can be set in an unrealistic manner, but if you have a buyer, you have a buyer.... whatever the hidden agenda may be, it is still operating under a civilised framework.

In the end - it is just part of life.... isn't that is part pf the "normality" that we were looking for? If the world did change later on, would be look back in time and discover there is a form of normality in life that we all try to protect?! I am sure it changes through time, but having an anchor (or bookmark) wouldn't be a bad thing right?

PS: For some strange reasons, I always thought that I am a shield of some sort, or perhaps thinking it as a harm reduction?! I don't actively make a situation worse, with caveat & unintended scenario........ and will always try to find a better outcome if it is within my capability. If this isn't enough, well at least, I have said it. You can open an umbrella and leave it on the floor - it may still defend a patch of surface. But when it coupled with the user or users, it performs better (eg size, height, weight, shape), literally just individual fitting, if it fits, it fits and lastly, yes the umbrella was large enough to have 2 people + the showcased umbrella in it, and still have enough space for all! You may find it interesting this can also be depicted through the triangle shots in her video. It is just amazing....
