This is another random one...
I was just listening to my music playlist and browsing on the web at the same time. Then this song came up mentioning "Burn", and guess what, I was just exactly browsing people who died at 37. And my mouse was literally next to the person named Robert Burns. So I clicked into it, and wonder what this poet did in his life time. Since the song titled Sorry For Now, so I search his poem, to see if there are any "sorry" related one... and I found this. I think this poem would be a compliment to this music video... If there was spirits in this world, this is how I would explain it, maybe this is / was the wish that Mr Burns want to share. Who knows anyway?
My two cents for this video, and I just want to be truthful here..... play this video more than once, and tell me, where was the "best moments" in their lives? I certainly did not think it was the "together" part. And just pause here for a moment, when she had another guy, they were happy, the father, seems to be able to enjoy himself more... how about the kid? That is the tricky bit that often people miss - broken home does not equal to a broken marriage / relationship and certainly does not mean tragic to the kids (not necessary anyway). I think there are examples out there the kid actually got more love from their step parents too. His birth dad seems to be just a phone call away...
It seems to be if happiness was the key and all three of them could have worked it out better and explain to the kid better. So if sorry for now, when is now? If only people can communicate without fighting and prejudice, and without the bias from the social norm.... new opportunities, even better ones may become available.
Do you think the kid will be happy if they aren't happy together and had to pretend? What kind of pressure? Is it something that is going to be happy anyway? I think if I am trapped, I will be exhausted. Oh wait..... that is pretty much now. I am sorry.
