Remember even with my webpages, it comes with a spectrum. The good side, the negative side and the negative side that still do good (3 sides). It is just like not many people would see it and may think that I delve into a "bad" side.... because of my anger etc... Not quite, the tone may be different, but the message and intention has always been the same. If it was a warning system, the initial one is like a kind reminder, the subsequent ones may be "louder", "annoying" per se, but just there to get some attention it needed to solve a bigger problem for all of the stakeholders. Pretty much like the business world.
I often wonder why do I continue to do things, other people may reject or don't like.... I guess this is true for non revenue generating departments, like Assurance.... when you get a message from them, it is often pointing out things that need to be changed, it isn't their intention to make your life harder but quite the opposite, so your life doesn't get into further deteriorated... same as the external audit component, before the shit really hits the fan for the corporate.
Why do I post this song tonight? Because it is what it is, I ended up experienced it first hand. When all the beautiful things turned into pear shape just after midnight. What was wonderful became less (well hopefully not for too long), if the ending is still a happy ending hey?!
But yeah those shoes are real - not because I wanted it that way, not because he wanted it that way. The fact is that we both wanted to stay the night, so how did it end up that way? I wonder will they ever find the true owner of that pair of shoes? Or just like other previous scenario that no one would care and be discarded....
I tend not to sugarcoat things, but equally understand that at times, full strength is also not required for all... it is a delicate process of judging when is the right time to do certain things and how far... even when it comes to stealing, I have personally observed when I was homeless in the city, got nowhere to go, and a bunch of kids robbed the 7-11. The only person was behind the counter, couldn't have defended it anyway and probably safer to remain in the booth. Some kids took 1-2 things, some kids maybe 3-4.... Then another one, got more and more. Some people at this point may comment XYZ.... blah blah blah. I did too, I did yell out, take what you need, and don't need to overdo it. Because it isn't my place to judge anyway - for some strange reasons, I believe some may even be prepaid... or have a "contract" to repay later on.... is it a reality TV show or some sort.... or documentary.... or research or is it a prank?! But I can also understand, for those people who went through the experience, how would they feel? I can only comment to the point that I can see, without knowing what the ending was - those people's perspective may remain the same or unchanged, even if there was a good ending, they may not know about it. This scenario / example I feel can be relevant to our society today... like the former bad news, despite it may be accurate at that time, how often do we "update" something, if it turns out to be different.... and how useful is that update is... I feel each communication, the effect of such communication is "discounted" at best, because of distrust, missed engagement, confusion, doubt or other reasons.... but some form of updates, is better than nothing, and maybe with time, it may reach to where things can organically progress.... like word of mouth?! Did dingo take the baby? Even with time / media coverage / court decision, I am sure the answer today is still not 100% if you pick some random samples in the society who knows of the case.... for those who just comment, it may not have much differences, but for those who suffered in the case, those are the real people going through it and the truth makes a damn difference... it is a life or death matter to them, it is significant to them..... is this not true?
If people then blame the dingo..... I wonder if the dingo and those who suffered previously provide a good example for the society today, so that they can RETHINK!
